Davante Adams has revealed he is yet to hear from Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce after a strange social media screenshot surfaced in recent days.
Pierce liked an Instagram post from Sports Illustrated writer Michael Fabiano that claimed Adams ‘may have already played his last snap’ for for the franchise.
Speaking on the Up and Adams Show, the wide receiver was quizzed about his coach’s conduct and admitted nothing has been said between the pair.

“I keep my head down and keep doing my thing and let the chips fall where they may as it pertains to that,” Adams said.
“There’s been no communication with anybody from the team since that became a thing. It’s kind of like the weekly, ‘What’s up with Tae?’ thing.
“There’s always some sort of drama, but at the end of the day 17 [Adams’ uniform number] doesn’t create any of it, so people can say what they want.”
Reports have since emerged that Adams is seeking a trade out of Vegas, with the likes of the Steelers and Jets heavily speculated as potential destinations.

Adams spent a large portion of his career alongside Aaron Rodgers at the Green Bay Packers, with a potential reunion in New York now edging closer.
Pittsburgh have also been on the lookout for another star receiver, recently missing out on 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk after a lengthy contract saga.
Adams’ name regularly comes up in trade rumours because his salary cap hit rises dramatically next year and the Raiders may be looking to rebuild their roster.
The trade talk “gets annoying for sure” the 31-year-old said on the podcast.
“I’m one of those players that people like to talk about one way or the other.”
A hamstring injury kept Adams out of the teams’ 20-16 victory over the Browns.
Head coach Pierce said on Tuesday (AEST) that he didn’t have an update on whether his receiver would be back for Sunday’s game at the Denver Broncos, and Adams said on the show he didn’t know if he would be ready.
