Up to 10 GWS Giants players could be facing bans and fines after an anonymous complaint around an end-of-season party.
9news Melbourne reporter Tom Morris described the news as “worrying”.
“The AFL is investigating claims of inappropriate behaviour relating to costumes and skits at the players-only event post-season,” he said.

“I understand a mix of suspensions and fines will be handed down in that.”
The Giants’ season finished in week two of finals when they were defeated by five-points against eventual premiers Brisbane.
In a club statement, GWS confirmed an investigation is underway.
“The Giants are aware of an anonymous allegation of inappropriate behaviour at the players’ end-of-season event last month,” the statement read.
“The club and its integrity unit have been working with the AFL’s integrity unit to investigate. The club will make no further comment until the outcomes of the investigation have been finalised.”
