Falcons vs. Rams live: Follow ‘MNF’ action in Week 17

by December 30, 2025
by December 30, 2025

The final ‘Monday Night Football’ game of the 2025 regular season features an intriguing NFC matchup with a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

The Atlanta Falcons (6-9) are set to host the Los Angeles Rams (11-4) in a battle between teams with differing winter plans. Despite the Falcons’ elimination from playoff contention, they could help decide who earns the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.

Los Angeles has its sights set on playing in Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium in February.

Davante Adams, who leads the NFL with 14 receiving touchdowns, has a hamstring injury and is not expected to play. Matthew Stafford is still surrounded by Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams and the explosive Blake Corum as he continues to jostle with Drake Maye in the MVP race.

The Rams’ offense is ranked first in DVOA and has scored at least 30 points in three straight. Their underrated defense is ranked third in DVOA, per FTN, setting up a significant challenge for a suddenly surging Falcons offense.

The Falcons are fresh off two straight wins, and Bijan Robinson has been a handful for opposing defenses to corral. His 131.5 yards per game leads the NFL. Tight end Kyle Pitts has excelled under Kirk Cousins’ tutelage, finishing with at least six receptions in four consecutive games.

Sean McVay has the Rams poised to be contenders and they can make another statement with a win on Monday night in prime time.
