Messi’s drink on Messi’s team: Mas+, Inter Miami announce partnership

Lionel Messi’s drink, Más+ by Messi, has been announced as the official sports hydration partner of Inter Miami, both sides announced on Thursday.

Inter Miami players like Messi will rely on Mas+ during their games and trainings, while fans will be able to engage in brand activations during Inter Miami games at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Más+ by Messi will also be provided to Inter Miami’s academy, stemming from Messi’s passion for promoting young athletes as they begin their fútbol journey.

“It’s a huge honor and joy that Más+ by Messi is becoming a partner of Inter Miami,” Messi, the reigning MLS MVP, said in a press release.

“When working on this drink, we aimed to provide hydration not only for elite athletes but also for amateurs and anyone looking to stay properly hydrated in their daily lives, while also benefiting from electrolytes and vitamins.”

Messi’s drink partnership with Inter Miami is the latest news surrounding the Argentine World Cup champion and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner before the 2025 MLS season.

Messi was a fixture at Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, and featured in a post-Super Bowl ad by Apple to showcase MLS Season Pass. He also was prominently featured wearing Inter Miami’s newest pink-striped jersey released this week, and will be available worldwide on Friday.

Messi’s drink debuted last June in stores in the United States and worldwide on www.masbymessi.com.

Mas+ comes in four flavors highlighting inspirational milestones in Messi’s legendary soccer career: Miami Punch, Orange d’Or, Berry Copa Crush and Limón Lime League.

Like Messi’s No. 10 jersey, the 16.9-ounce bottles of Mas+ have a gram of cane sugar with just 10 calories.

Cristiano Ronaldo fans can enjoy 12-ounce cans of Messi’s drink with less than a gram of cane sugar and just seven calories.

Más+ will be featured on branded coolers and towels at Inter Miami team trainings, and even featured alongside players and coaches during the club’s home press conferences.

“This name captures what my life and career have always been about: Más means more. I believe we can always give a bit more, and I’ve achieved more than I thought was possible by thinking positively,” Messi said in an Instagram post last year.

Messi and Inter Miami will play one last preseason game on Friday against MLS rival Orlando City in Tampa, Florida.

Inter Miami begins the first round of the Concacaf Champions Cup against Sporting Kansas City on Feb. 18, and opens the 2025 MLS season at home against New York City FC on Feb. 22.
